MAPP Workshop

Service Description

MAPP is a 15 hour continuing education course designed for LMT's who want to deepen their understanding of the autonomic nervous system and apply nervous-system -informed principals to therapeutic touch. The course explores the anatomy and physiology of the vagus nerve, autonomic regulation and relevant concepts from Polyvagal Theory while translating this knowledge into practical, scope-appropriate applications for massage therapy. Participants will leave with a framework for incorporating nervous-system-informed assessment, communication and hands-on approaches into their existing massage practice.
